What is RocketReach?
RocketReach is a B2B contact search engine: you look up a person by name and company, or filter its database with 100+ search filters such as title, company, industry and location, and it returns verified emails, phone numbers and social profiles. A lookup is charged only when RocketReach finds and verifies an email or phone. Results can be saved to lists, exported to CSV or, on Pro and Ultimate, pushed to Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Bullhorn, while the Chrome extension (300,000 users) runs lookups from social profiles and company websites. Autopilot adds light automation: search lists that refresh on a schedule with new leads, templates with an AI writer, simple sequences of follow-up emails or tasks, and tracking of sent, clicked, replied and bounced emails. API and MCP access come with every paid plan. Founded in 2015 by Andrew Tso and Amit Shanbhag, RocketReach sells mostly self-serve plans, offers custom plans for larger teams, and says it serves 95% of the S&P 500.
RocketReach is a contact lookup tool that finds verified work and personal emails, mobile and direct-dial phone numbers and social links for professionals, used by sales reps, recruiters and fundraisers. RocketReach says it covers 700M+ professionals at 60M+ companies and serves 26 million users, and a lookup that returns no verified email or phone is refunded. Monthly plans cost $69 for Essentials (100 email-only lookups), $119 for Pro + Phone (250 lookups with phone numbers) and $209 for Ultimate + Phone (1,000 lookups); annual plans at $399, $899 and $1,699 a year replace the monthly caps with unlimited lookups under a 10,000-per-month fair-use limit, but cap exports at 1,200, 3,600 and 20,000 a year. Every paid plan includes API and MCP access, and a free account gets 5 lookups.
Standout feature: Annual plans with unlimited email and phone lookups (fair-use cap of 10,000 a month) at published prices from $399 a year, plus automatic refunds on any lookup that returns no verified email or phone.
Biggest weakness: The plan limits are easy to misread: monthly plans cap lookups at 100, 250 or 1,000, Essentials includes no phone numbers, and the unlimited annual plans still cap exports, which cover API calls, bulk lookups, CSV downloads and CRM pushes, at 1,200 to 20,000 a year. The Chrome extension rates 3.3/5 from 460 Chrome Web Store ratings.
